Terms and conditions of service

Online Classes and courses

RESERVE YOUR CLASSES

To reserve your classes, all you have to do is consult our class timetable (go to the section "BOOKING") to consult available time slots; fill in the form (go to the form in "Reserve your class"), and you will receive a reply in less than 24 hours; make the payment for the classes (by Pay Pal or bank transfer) and in less than 24 hours you can start to enjoy your first class.

USE-BY DATE CLASSES

You have 6 months to enjoy them, which is easy if you´re interested in improving your English. You must have these classes within this time; otherwise they will not be valid and the money will not be refunded.

RESCHEDULING CLASSES

The student can reschedule the class without incurring any penalty on the condition that you inform admin@yourenglishweb.com by email, with a minimum of 24 hours notice before the class is due to start. Please bear in mind that, any message regarding the rescheduling of a class must be received during office opening hours (Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00 hours GMT +1). Classes that are not cancelled with sufficient notice will be charged for.

CLASSES CANCELATION

If you need to cancel one class, you have to email admin@yourenglishweb.com with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Your class will be cancelled and another reservation will be made for a class on another day that suits you. Please bear in mind that, any message regarding the rescheduling of a class must be received during office opening hours (Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00 hours GMT +1). Classes that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice shall be charged for and therefore you will not be refunded. With Your English Web you can only cancel two classes per month. As of the third, the class fee will not be refunded When the class is cancelled by Your English Web the student can choose between changing the class to another time or receiving a full refund.

FREE TRIAL

The free trial is available only to first-time users and is for online conversation classes.

REFUNDING POLICY

If you decide that Your English Web is not for you email admin@yourenglishweb.com with, at least, 24 hours before your next class. Please bear in mind that, any message regarding the rescheduling of a class must be received during office opening hours (Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00 hours GMT +1). If you have paid for a block of classes 80% of the amount paid will be refunded, and if you have paid for just one class then 100% will be refunded. The student is responsible for the charges for the transfer. With Your English Web you can only cancel two classes per month. As of the third, the class fee will not be refunded.

TECHNICAL PROBLEMS

If the break in communication is due to technical difficulties in the student´s computer or Internet connection Your English Web will try, the first time that this happens, to reschedule that class so that the student does not lose it. If it occurs several times the student will lose these classes. If it is our system that fails, Your English Web will give you an extra class to make up for the missed class.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

Your English Web offers three (3) membership options - Free, Silver, and Gold.

Silver Membership (Level 1) will give you access to our premium exercises which are located externally from this website. Access will be granted in a maximum period of 12 hours from the moment of payment.

Gold Membership (Level 2) provides access to both our premium exercise area and all English courses. Thses will be subject to you level and could vary from uses to user. These courses are self-study only and include access to a tutor via email, forums and course feedback.

Gold members can book personalised one-to-one classes with an experienced teacher at their convenience for the stipulated prices for these classes.

STUDY MATERIAL FOR THE CLASSES

During the classes the student will receive texts in English (news items, articles, interviews, song lyrics, transcriptions of videos, etc.) on which the teacher and student will work together. Moreover, at the end of each class homework will be set for the student so that you can practise at home what you have seen in class that week. All this is included in the price of the classes. This material will not be shared, sold or otherwise distributed to any student or company.

BILLING POLICIES

Your English Web's fees are exclusive of any applicable VAT or taxes, interest or installment fees charged by the credit card company, or other fees associated with connecting to the Internet.

PAYMENTS

Your English Web guarantees that every credit card transaction you make at Your English Web is 100% secure given that payments are processed by a third-party such as PayPal. If at any time you wish to check on the status of your subscription, please login and visit the “My Account” page in your Login area.

All language course fees are non-recurring.

All courses have a 7-day money back guarantee when stated explicitly on the product page. Within 7 days after purchase you have the right to cancel your language course by written (email) notice and receive your full money back.

In addition to the classes included in your language course, you can purchase additional classes. These classes give you the right to take more teacher-led classes.

PROHIBITED USES

(a) Neither You nor any Authorised User may:

(i) remove or alter the authors' names or Your English Web's copyright notices or other means of identification or disclaimers as they appear in the Your English Web Platform;

(ii) mount or distribute all or any part of the Your English Web Platform on any other electronic network, including, without limitation, the Internet and the World Wide Web;

(iii) engage in systematic copying or downloading of the Your English Web Platform, or transmit any part of the Your English Web Platform by any means to anyone who is not an Authorised User;

(iv) allow copies to be stored or accessed by anyone who is not an Authorised User, save as permitted in these Terms and Conditions or where said Content is included in the Your English Web Platform under a creative commons license;

(v) alter, abridge, adapt or modify the Your English Web Platform except to the extent necessary to provide access to Authorised Users under these Terms and Conditions;

(vi) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, recompile, reassemble or otherwise alter the software;

(vii) make the Your English Web Platform available in any other form or medium or create derivative works without the written permission of Your English Web;

(viii) communicate obscene, unlawful, or objectionable Content via the Your English Web Platform discussion forums or messaging system.(x) disable any licensing or control features of the Your English Web Platform.

Operating system - Windows XP/2000/Vista/2003/7, OSX 10.3+

Computer processor - Pentium 4 or newer processor that supports SSE2

Computer memory - 512 MB+ Internet connection - 1000 Kbps or faster
